ROLE
My primary role was a technical artist. I managed the art pipeline, seamlessly implemented UI screens within the Unity engine, developed custom mobile shaders for deer targets and trees, and focused on art optimisation to enhance overall performance.
LEARNINGS
Deer Hunt/ Hunting : we utilized Unity terrain for level creation, a choice that came with both advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side, this approach significantly reduced the time required for level creation, thereby cutting down production time. However, it came with a trade-off, impacting game performance. Through meticulous research, we successfully optimized the game to run smoothly on low-end configured devices. Nevertheless, due to the game's emphasis on art-heavy elements, this optimization did have an effect on the level of details in certain aspects.
